Rugged Outdoors Shipping Policy

At Rugged Outdoors, we strive to get your gear and e-bikes delivered quickly, safely, and affordably. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed on our ecommerce website.

 


 

1. Order Processing

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after payment is received.

  • You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been placed, and another email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

  • During peak seasons, sales events, or due to supply chain issues, processing times may be slightly longer.

 


 

2. Shipping Methods & Carriers

  • We partner with trusted carriers such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS for standard shipping.

  • Large items, including e-bikes, may ship via freight delivery services and require an appointment for delivery.

  • Shipping methods available at checkout may vary based on your location and the products in your order.

 


 

3. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and depend on order weight, size, and destination.

  • Free Shipping may be offered on select products or promotions, as indicated on product pages.

  • Freight delivery fees for e-bikes or oversized equipment may apply.

 


 

4. Delivery Estimates

  • Standard shipping typically takes 3–7 business days within the continental U.S. after processing.

  • E-bikes and oversized products may take 7–14 business days depending on destination and carrier scheduling.

  • Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, customs, or weather events are outside Rugged Outdoors’ control.

 


 

5. Shipping Restrictions

  • We currently ship within the United States.

  • At this time, we do not ship to P.O. boxes, APO/FPO addresses, Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations (unless otherwise stated).

  • Some products (including e-bike batteries) are classified as hazardous materials and may have shipping restrictions.

 


 

6. Risk of Loss

  • All products are shipped with tracking and insurance.

  • Ownership and risk of loss pass to you once the product is marked as delivered by the carrier.

  • If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us immediately so we can file a claim with the carrier and assist with a replacement or refund.

 


 

7. Freight Delivery for E-Bikes

  • E-bikes are shipped via freight due to size and battery regulations.

  • The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery window.

  • Deliveries are curbside only unless otherwise arranged. Please be prepared to receive and inspect your shipment.

  • Inspection on Delivery: If you notice visible damage, refuse the shipment or note the damage on the delivery receipt and contact us immediately.

 


 

8. Order Tracking

  • Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email.

  • You can track your order through the carrier’s website or your Rugged Outdoors account dashboard.
