Thank you for choosing Rugged Outdoors. This Return & Warranty Policy applies specifically to our electric bikes (“e-bikes”). Please read carefully before making a purchase.
Return Window: New, unused e-bikes may be returned within 14 of delivery. To qualify, the e-bike must be in original condition, free of wear, and in original packaging.
Non-Returnable Items: Used, damaged, customized, or modified e-bikes cannot be returned.
Return Process:
Contact Rugged Outdoors Customer Service at [insert email/phone] to initiate a return.
A Return Authorization (RA) number must be obtained before shipping.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or incorrect item.
Restocking Fee: Returns may be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover inspection, handling, and repackaging.
Refunds: Issued to the original payment method within [10-14 business days] after the returned e-bike is inspected and approved.
We stand behind the quality of our e-bikes. Each new e-bike purchased from Rugged Outdoors includes the following limited warranties:
Covered for 2 against defects in material and workmanship.
Damage from accidents, misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications is not covered.
Covered for 1 against defects in material and workmanship.
Water damage, power surges, or tampering void warranty coverage.
Covered for [1 year / 500 charge cycles] (whichever comes first).
Warranty covers manufacturing defects and capacity drop below 60% within the warranty period.
Damage from improper charging, exposure to extreme temperatures, or use of non-approved chargers is excluded.
Consumable components such as tires, tubes, brake pads, chains, cassettes, grips, and saddles are not covered under warranty unless defective upon arrival.
This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear.
Damage due to accidents, collisions, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
Unauthorized repairs, alterations, or modifications.
Improper maintenance, storage, or charging practices.
Commercial or rental use unless specifically authorized by Rugged Outdoors.
To file a claim:
Contact Rugged Outdoors Customer Service with proof of purchase.
Provide photos or videos of the issue, along with a description of the problem.
If required, ship the defective component or e-bike to Rugged Outdoors for inspection (shipping costs may apply).
If the claim is approved, Rugged Outdoors will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or provide a comparable part or product.
Rugged Outdoors’ liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as described above. We are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages, including property damage, personal injury, or loss of use.
Owners are responsible for performing regular maintenance, such as checking tire pressure, adjusting brakes, and keeping the battery properly charged.
Always follow the user manual and local regulations when operating your e-bike.
Failure to follow recommended guidelines may void warranty coverage.
